What we do with your data. And mostly what we do not.

This website sets no cookies and does not measure your behaviour. There is no Google Analytics or comparable statistics tool. The fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not have to fetch anything from Google. That is why you see no consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

We do not sell anything on, and we do not send you anything you did not ask for.

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web server, Netlify keeps technical records of each visit: your IP address, the time, which page was requested and which browser you use. That is needed to deliver the site and to spot faults and abuse.

We cannot link that data to a person and we do not use it for marketing. Netlify is our processor; processing takes place within the EU and in the United States on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

This site sets no cookies of its own. The only exception arises if you click a video yourself — see below.

If an article or case contains a video, you first see a still image with a play button. As long as you do not click it, no request goes to YouTube or Vimeo and no cookies are set.

If you do press play, the player loads and that party’s terms apply from that moment. We use YouTube in its privacy-friendly form (youtube-nocookie.com) and switch on "do not track" at Vimeo.

We keep what you send us, so we can reply and honour the agreements we make. If you become a client, we keep the data belonging to the assignment. Invoices and the surrounding administration are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. The rest we keep no longer than necessary.

We share your data only with parties we engage to do the work — our bookkeeper, or a supplier within a project — and only as far as necessary.

You may always ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Send an email and you will hear from us within one working day.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
